Fordham Law Summer Session: Earn academic or CLE credit this summer in New York City

Summer classes at Fordham Law provide current J.D. and LL.M. students with opportunities to get ahead—and to get out and enjoy the cultural richness of New York City. Legal professionals can audit courses to expand their knowledge while earning CLE credits.


For current law students, Fordham Law Summer Session offers
• 18 courses, in topics ranging from international law to corporations, from trademark to sports law, from evidence to income taxation
• 2 advanced legal research courses with condensed 3-class schedule
• 1–4 academic credits per course
Externships, with seminar and field placement components (non-Fordham students must have eligible placements in New York)
• Housing, on a limited basis

For practicing legal professionals, Fordham Law Summer Session offers
• 18 courses to audit for CLE credit in ethics, skills, and professional practice 
• 14 to 56 transitional and nontransitional CLE credits per course


Classes are taught in the evening or on Saturdays
by Fordham Law’s exemplary full-time faculty and leading adjunct professors who are experts in their fields. 
• Classes: May 19–July 17
• Exams (academic credit only): July 21 (Mon-Wed classes) & 22 (Tue-Thu classes)

$2,500 per course
($1,250 for Fordham Law alumni)
