Advanced Legal Research: International and Comparative Law

This condensed workshop aims to provide students with the basic foundation to research international, comparative and foreign law competently, especially for those studying, working and/or interning abroad during the summer. It addresses relevant methods and sources, both print and electronic, for locating treaties, United Nations information, international trade and arbitration materials, the European Union and foreign jurisdictions including Columbia, Ireland, South Korea and the United Kingdom.  As a final project, students will prepare a pathfinder on an international, foreign or comparative law topic.
