Mass Media and Internet Law
A study of the scope of First Amendment protection of a free press and the current regulatory framework of the mass media. Specific topics include defamation, privacy, prior restraints, reporters privileges, access to governmental information, the free press fair trial conflict, the media's role in the electoral process, access to the media, regulation of broadcast and cable television, commercial speech and advertising, and obscene or indecent communications.Credits: 2
