Ticket and Invitation Distribution

Each graduate will receive at least 7 (seven) tickets to the Diploma Ceremony.  Graduating students do not require a ticket.  Each graduate will also receive formal invitations that can be sent to family and friends to announce your graduation from the Law School. These invitations cannot be used for entrance to the Diploma Ceremony.

Tickets will only be released to graduates if the following conditions are met:

(1) Graduation Audit  - submitted to the Registrar's Office (Room 10, Garden Level);

(2) No Financial Aid, Registrar or Library "holds" on your account;

(3) Cap and Gown order must be processed;

(4) Graduate Employment Survey - submitted to the Career Planning Center (Instructions will be forthcoming).

Your tickets should be placed in a secure place because lost tickets are not replaceable.  The sale or purchase of these tickets is a violation of the Law School's ethical standards and is prohibited.  Furthermore, the sale of tickets falls outside the scope of the agreement signed between Madison Square Garden Entertainment and Fordham University and is likewise prohibited by law.

Requesting Additional Tickets:  If you do not need all your tickets, you are urged to give them to a fellow classmate or to return them to the Office of Student Affairs (Room 06, Garden Level), so that they can be provided to graduates in need of extra tickets.  You will be able to sign up for extra tickets in the Office of Student Affairs during the week of ticket distribution.  The number of extra tickets is subject to availability and determined at a later date.  There is no guarantee that a request for extra tickets will be completely honored or satisfied.

Please contact Cynthia Juco, Senior Counselor in the Office of Student Affairs, if you have questions about the New York State Bar Examination.

Graduate Employment Survey

Graduates are required to complete the Graduate Employment Survey in order to receive your graduation tickets.  The survey form contains an instruction sheet to assist you in completing the survey.

Completing the survey prior to your arrival to pick up your tickets will help speed you through the ticket pick-up process. A representative of the CPC will be at the Graduate Ticket Distribution for you to give your completed survey.

Please note: individual information reported on the survey will be kept confidential and will be used solely to compile aggregate data that the CPC and Fordham Law are obliged to collect.

Alumni Participation

If the graduate is the child, grandchild, parent, sibling, spouse or domestic partner of a Fordham alumnus, Fordham Law School faculty member, or Fordham University trustee or officer, that person may present the diploma to the graduate.  Please contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at (212) 636-6806 to inform them if any of the category of the individuals listed plan to participate in the Diploma Ceremony. This group of individuals will participate in the academic procession and do not need a ticket to the Diploma Ceremony.
