Cost of Attendance Fordham Law School's Office of Financial Aid website contains the most up-to-date information about tuition, fees, and other expenses you can expect to pay as a law student at Fordham. >>click here to see the most recent cost of attendance information Note that the following fees may be applicable to international students (in addition to the fees listed on the Financial Aid website): International Student Health Insurance: $362 (fall semester; covers the period from August 23, 2011 - January 1, 2012), $643 (spring semester; covers the period from January 2, 2012 - August 23, 2012) Tuition refunds for a student who withdraws are as follows: End of the 1st week of classes of the semester: 100% Tuition Payment Tuition invoices are mailed to students prior to the start of each semester, and will also be posted to students' my.fordham.edu accounts. Students are expected to check their accounts regularly and make sure that tuition payments are made on time. Students who do not pay their tuition on time will be assessed late charges by the University. Fordham University offers a monthly tuition payment plan administered by Tuition Management Systems (TMS). >>click here for information about the TMS tuition payment plan Financial Aid Money may be available through various government loan programs such as the Federal Subsidized and Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan programs, as well as through private-sector loan programs such as Law Access and Law Achiever. To be eligible for these federal and private sector loan programs, the student must be a U.S. citizen/national or eligible non-citizen. Eligible non-citizens must submit one of the following forms of documentation of status issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS): • Alien Registration Card (I-151 or I-551). Students are not eligible for federal aid if they are in the U.S. on a F1 or F2 student visa, a J1 or J2 exchange visitor visa, or a G series visa. Some countries have United States Educational Exchange Commissions. The Rotary Foundation also awards international scholarships. Interested applicants should contact their local Rotary Club to obtain application forms and inquire about the availability of scholarship types. Latin American and Caribbean citizens may be eligible for the Leo S. Rowe Pan American Fund, a student loan program of the Organization of American States (OAS).
