Apply to Study Abroad at Fordham Law School

Thank you for your interest in spending a semester studying at Fordham Law School!  In order to apply, you must first have been nominated by your home institution.  If you have not been nominated, you must contact the study abroad administrator at your school. 

PLEASE NOTE: Double degree students should complete the regular LL.M. application process, rather than the application process for exchange students set forth herein.

The following materials are required to process your application:

  • Online application form
  • Official TOEFL or ILEC report
  • Law school transcript (unofficial will suffice)
  • A statement of interest describing why you are interested in spending a semester studying at Fordham Law School and what benefits you hope to derive from the experience
  • Resume or curriculum vitae

You will be directed off the Fordham Law website to the Adobe® Formscentral secure server.

In order to complete your application, you must submit the online application form and all supplemental materials listed above.  Your application will not be reviewed until all materials have been recevied.  With the exception of the online application form, materials should be submitted via email to lawstudyabroad@law.fordham.edu.

All materials must be received by the application deadline for the semester for which you are applying.  Deadlines are as follows:

Fall Semester (beginning in mid-August): April 15
Spring Semester (beginning in January): October 1
