Founded in 2006, the Fordham-SKKU Summer Institute of International Law held in Seoul Korea on Sungkyunkwan University's scenic campus is already a huge success. The Institute has enrolled over 600 students from 5 countries and 60 law schools since its inception. Students enroll in three or six credits. Students must enroll in one of 3 three-credit courses in international and comparative law subjects taught by distinguished faculty from Fordham and University of Washington law schools.

Classroom instruction will be supplemented by field trips to legal institutions and cultural sites. Students may also enroll in a basic Korean language class during the program and apply for 4-to-6 week non-credit internships with Korean multinational corporations, law firms, courts, government offices, and human-rights organizations after the program.
