How do professors post class cancellations?
If a professor needs to cancel a class session due to illness or personal emergency, the registrar office must be notified and the professor should send a message to the class through LawNET immediately.
- Login to LawNET.
- Click on “Academics” on the top bar.
- Click on the CRN of the class that you want to cancel.
- Click on “Student Roster” on the left-hand panel.
- Click “Send E-mail” and proceed to writing and sending your e-mail.
For last-minute cancellations, contact the Registrar's Office at 212-636-6803, 7888, or 7025 to get a notification posted online or to send an automated voicemail to your students.
