Checklist

1.  Activate Your Law School Account

Activate your Network Account by visiting the Law School's Account Self Service Portal: http://selfserv.lawnet.fordham.edu.

Enter your university username (username provided in your welcome letter) and follow the on screen instructions to verify your account and set a password. For step-by-step instructions on activating your account click here.

2.  Claim Your University Account (AccessIT ID)

If you have not yet claimed your University's AccessIT ID (credentials used to login to the My.Fordham system and to access your email), we strongly recommend you do so now.

Visit the University's My.Fordham Portal: http://my.fordham.edu and click on the 'Click Here to Claim your AccessIT ID ..." link from within the First Time Users section. Follow the on screen instructions to verify your account and set your AccessIT ID password. For more information on claiming your AccessIT ID, click here.

3.  Update your Mailing Address & Phone Info

Every office relies on the information stored within the University's system of record (Banner), especially the Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registrar Office. Therefore, it is imperative that provide Fordham your current mailing address and phone number(s).

To update your address and phone number(s), please logon to the University's My.Fordham Portal (http://my.fordham.edu) and navigate to the Student Tab. Click on Banner Self Service, Personal Information, and select Update Addresses & Phones. Choose 'Mailing Address' from the drop down and complete the information on the form. For step-by-step instructions, please click here.

4.  Review First Reading Assignments & Syllabus Information

IMPORTANT: Incoming students should perform steps 1 & 2 above before students can access Fordham Law online services.

Review assignments, required text, and syllabus information posted by your professor.
