Many external organizations offer grants and scholarships to help with the cost of law school. There are websites, such as finaid.org or fastweb.com that guide students and parents to educational loans and grants. Sources of outside scholarships include bar associations, civic associations, community foundations, employers, fraternal groups and religious organizations. Be sure to check all sources with which you or your family are associated. See Outside Scholarships for a current list of scholarships maintained by the Financial Aid Office. In addition, there are Veterans Programs, State Programs and New York City has a Mayor's Graduate Scholarship Program.
