Mayor's Graduate Scholarship Program

The Mayor's Graduate Scholarship Program (MGSP) provides full-time New York City government employees the opporunity to continue their education through graduate study at accredited colleges/universities in the metropolitan area.  The Department of Citywide Adminsitrative Services (DCAS) administers this program.  Fordham Law participates in the MGSP and will award partial tuition scholarships on a competitive basis. 

To qualify you must:

  • be a full-time City government employee
  • be actively employed by the City of New York at the time of application and while pursuing your degree
  • have completed an undergraduate degree

To apply you must:

  • apply for admission to Fordham Law
  • complete the MGSP application and submit it to your Personnel Office for approval by the deadline.  (Do not submit the MGSP application to the Law School). 
  • Your Personnel Office will submit your application to the DCAS
  • The DCAS will screen the appication and forward it to Fordham
