Jose Luis Guerra graduated cum laude from the JD program at Northwestern University; he also has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Before attending Northwestern he obtained a law degree in Mexico from the University Anahuac. He is licensed to practice law in both the US and in Mexico. After school he took a job working for the law firm Cravath, Swaine and Moore in their Mergers and Acquisitions department and latter in their Latin American practice. He also practiced law in-house for Mitsui & Co (USA), Inc., a large Japanese multinational trading company and at Credit Suisse in their Legal and Compliance Department. His practice is geared toward Latin America.
