Michael B. Likosky
Michael Likosky directs the Center on Law & Public Finance and is Senior Fellow at NYU's Institute for Public Knowledge. He has a doctorate from Oxford Law Faculty and has held visiting posts and fellowships at Oxford University, NYU Law School, Fordham Law School, University of Wisconsin Law School, and the University of Bonn. Likosky has been a tenured law professor in international economic law at University of London. He has written five books, including three with Cambridge University Press, most recently Obama's Bank: Financing a Durable New Deal (Cambridge 2010). Likosky is a regular contributor to the Oxford Amnesty International Lectures, and appears in the Wall Street Journal, International Herald Tribune, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, American Banker, Bond Buyer, and other outlets. He is an Expert to the United Nations and OECD, and his work is supported by Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and Markle Foundation. Likosky advises government officials, investors, major broadcasters and sattelite providers, labor unions, and intergovernmental organizations.
