PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES

With Fordham's Externship Program, New York City becomes your classroom.  Take advantage of all the city has to offer!


Externship opportunities are available with:

  • Non-profit organizations
  • Government Agencies
  • Local, state, and federal courts
  • Select legal departments focusing on IP or Media Law
    • Note that law firms are not eligible. 
    • If you have questions or concerns about the elegibility of a potential placement, please contact the Externship Program.
    • Please allow extra time for placement approval when applying to the Externship Program with a for-profit IP/Media Placement. 
  • Separate seminars are available during the Fall and Spring for students externing at the New York City Council.
