Appellate Practice
Tuesday, November 19, 2013 | 4-5 p.m.

The presentation will cover the basics of appellate practice in the New York State courts.  Justice Dillon will provide from his experience as an attorney and appellate jurist valuable practical tips for presesrving issues for appeal, wording notices to appeal, preparing appellate records, writing briefs, and presenting oral argument, to enable the practitioner to avoid mistakes and be a more effective appellate advocate for clients.
