Forum on Law, Culture & Society: Short Film Competition

The Forum on Law, Culture & Society is currently accepting submissions for our inaugural Short Film Competition on a legal theme. Winning shorts will be screened during the seventh annual Forum Film Festival in New York City in October 2012. Learn more about the Forum Film Festival.

While this is a legal-themed film competition, we want you to have fun, be creative, and take some chances on new approaches. Any genre goes—musical, documentary, thriller, drama, romantic comedy, to name a few. We are looking for films dealing with law and legal issues, not just a police drama or murder mystery. Visit the Forum Film Festival Web site for an idea of the variety of legal-themed films that have been screened at Forum events.

Awards for Best Short, 2nd and 3rd places, Best Screenplay and Audience Favorite
