Lockers

At Orientation, the Office of Student Affairs will assign lockers and locks to all first-year, LL.M., visiting and transfer student students living off-campus. Once a student has been assigned a locker, the student may use this locker until after graduation or until the student moves into the law school residence hall.

Lockers are assigned randomly; a student's preference for a particular locker location will not be accepted. Students are not allowed to remove the school-issued lock. Locks that are not school-issued will be clipped.

Students who reside in the McMahon Residence Hall are not eligible to receive a locker. If you move out of McMahon and need a locker, please contact the Office of Student Affairs. The Office of Student Affairs will make all attempts to provide you a locker within 10 days of your notification. If you move into McMahon, you will be required to relinquish your locker. In the event you lose or forget your locker assignment, please present your Fordham ID card in the Office of Student Affairs to receive such information.

If you withdraw or take a leave of absence, you will be required to empty your locker within one week of the effective date of your withdrawal or leave. Any contents remaining after that date will be removed and discarded. A new locker will be assigned to you when you return back to school.

Graduating students must empty their lockers by the end of July of their graduating year (the exact date will be announced each Spring). Any contents remaining after that date will be removed and discarded.

In order to perform routine or emergency repairs/maintenance of your locker, the Office of Student Affairs may need to access your locker. The Office of Student Affairs will make every effort to contact you before such access.

Inquiries about the availability of lockers, locker problems or general issues regarding lockers should be directed to the Office of Student Affairs, Room 06 (Garden Level).
